The Plan

Anyway, regarding the trip to my house after A levels... The dates are temporary set from the 4th of December to 8th of December. Prom is on 12 Dec btw. I have to know how many people are going asap (like... before the end of hols!!) because we have to book early to get cheaper rates. Also, I have to collect S$100 deposit from everyone to book the bus tickets and hotel rooms (it's non-refundable, i hate to say this but my parents will be very pissed if we were to book extra tickets).
So here's the plan.
2nd of December: Board the bus to Kuala Lumpur at 9am at Harbourfront mall. We are taking the Aeroline (https://www.aeroline.com.my/bus_features.html) directly to a hotel in KL, which will take about 4 hours. The bus looks very comfy to me. There are cabin crews serving you in the bus, there's in-bus entertainment system, there's a toilet, a lounge, meals served, etc etc. So we will reach Corus Hotel at around 1pm (https://www.aeroline.com.my/corus_hotel.html). There's this very nice mamak stall which I love (granted my vegetarian taste is not representative for the class) opposite the hotel. The best part is that the hotel is just 5 minutes walk away from the Petronas Twin Towers so you guys can shop, take photos, have fun at the petrosains museum (which is a science centre in the twin towers) read book at kino, etc etc.
3rd of December: I am not very sure about how we are going to get to taiping yet... But here's the brief plan. We will take the LRT (M'sia equivalent to MRT) to the train station and we will board a train to the taiping train station which is near my house. Then my mum will ask several of her friends to pick all of us up to my house. Then we will all have fun at my house for the whole day.
4th of December: Depending on what you all want to do. In the morning we will probably visit the Taiping Lake and have fun at the park. There are boat rides on the lake. After that, I suggest heading to a chalet at the Maxwell Hill and have a barbecue over there. Then we will stay overnight at the hill.
5th of December: Not sure if you guys want to hike down the hill, but we will go back to my house in the morning and head to somewhere else. Either:
a) Cameron Highlands, because it's cool up there and quite relaxing
b) KL to do more shopping
c) Penang, but definitely will add cost
6th of December: Home sweet home
Total estimated cost: S$250
I hope everything does go according to plan. My mum will recee the trip in September. Welcome any suggestions and until then, LET'S ROCK THE A LEVELS!!
